I think the one who is feeling less appreciate or the one who is not really ready to settlt down.
I think cheating will never happen if both partners are happy and satisfied with each other, but as Anxious wrote the one who is feeling less appreciated is usually the one who strays. But on the other hand you will find that more men are likely to cheat than women and it is not because they are not happy its just that they think they need to satisfy their ego or sense of manhood.
As for woman(don't mean to be biased) but it is uually for attention or to compensate for something missing from their relationship like comfort, sex, attention and financial assistance.
